Rental Liability Waiver & Release of Responsibility

Sunshine City Outfitters

By renting any item from Sunshine City Outfitters, you (“Customer”) agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk

Customer acknowledges that the use, handling, transport, and operation of rental equipment — including but not limited to kayaks, fishing rods, tackle, and any other rental items — carries inherent risks, including property damage, bodily injury, or death. Customer assumes all such risks.

2. Release of Liability

Customer hereby releases, waives, and discharges Sunshine City Outfitters, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liability arising from:

• The use of any rental items
• Our delivery vehicle or transport operations
• Any accident, injury, or damage — including but not limited to broken windows, bodily harm, or death — related to a rental item or its transport

3. Customer Transport Responsibility

When Customer picks up and transports rental items, Customer is solely responsible for properly securing all rental equipment to their vehicle. This includes but is not limited to kayaks and other large items. Customer may supply their own ratchet straps or rent them from Sunshine City Outfitters.

4. Agreement

By completing your rental order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Liability Waiver. This release is binding on you, your heirs, and assigns.

Sunshine City Outfitters recommends consulting your insurance provider regarding coverage during transport of rented equipment.
